Hi! I'm the solo-dev behind SproutForge. I used to build machines as a Mechanical Engineer, but now I build pixel worlds of my dreams.
A Cat Named Venus Shorttail is my debut project. It's a vertical arcade adventure where physics meets feline agility. A love letter to the doodle jump.

🐈 Who is Venus?
Starring my real-life British Shorthair, Venus. She sat on my keyboard during development and "supervised" every line of code.
(P.S. Yes, her tail is that short. Please don't ask why—she's very sensitive about it.)
✨ Why Play?
- 🎮 Engineered Controls: Responsive movement logic, tested to perfection (and approved by Venus).
- 👻 The "Ghost Shelf": Watch out for blue platforms; they have commitment issues.
- 🐦 Birds are Jerks: Seriously. Dodge them at all costs.
- 🚫 Zero Bloat: No ads, no downloads. Just pure arcade fun.

I designed this game with a "pick up and play" philosophy. My dream is to bring it to Android & iOS.

I reached to ~3100 points.
The only thing is that it’s a little bit annoying When i collect the rainbow ball it throws me up, and i can’t dodge the birds…

This is a good and fun game! I tried to beat your high score, however fell deadlocked because the platform spawned too far from the other one and too high for the middle one. May I suggest adding maximum distance between platform?
Thank for playing! You can actually go one side to other side. Try enter left wall and go right next time. It is my fault to not mentionn that in tutorial lol
